Improv of Shame

In 2026, we began a collaboration with Jet City Improv known as Improv of Shame – a cathartic, hilarious collision of true-life humiliation and long-form improvisational performance at the University of Washington.

As with our ToJ shows, it begins with brave guest readers sharing real artifacts from their past, cringe-worthy adolescent writing, old diaries, unsent letters, and other relics best left forgotten… but then, these painfully honest confessions fuel an Armando-style improv set, where Jet City Improv transforms moments of shame into fully realized scenes, characters, and connections!

It’s a whole lotta fun and worth checking out – deets below!
